Who I am
I was born and raised in Aosta, a small border town in Northern Italy. A country surrounded by greenery and among the highest snowy peaks in Europe. Here, being a mountain village, there has always been the cult of solid wood furniture. Il Legno, a material that in the past and still today warms the houses and the heart of the Alpine inhabitants. With the passage of time and with the arrival of new technologies, the furniture industry has undergone various changes, the materials themselves have changed. Solid wood is disappearing, to give way to new semi-finished products such as Multilayer, OSB, and Phenolic. But who has had the opportunity to observe closely, to feel and smell the real wood, will remember it as the first birthday present!
In my studies I attended the ISITIP high school, thus approaching the machines with manual control and numerical control. When I finished my studies, I left the Craftsmanship field to devote myself to the Hotel, since the Valle d'Aosta was a purely Tourist resort, I had to take a different path from what I felt particularly my own. With the beginning of time I decided to retrace my steps and undertake this second job to nurture my old passion for craft products. Everything you find on my website or in my Amazon Handmade account, are products created and made entirely by hand, with the help of small woodworking machines. With my products I hope to be able to transmit a part of the heat that this material has transmitted to us Montanari for many years.
